We Hosted Dr. Mustafa Yaylalı at the Law and Artificial Intelligence Seminar
Dr. Mustafa Yaylalı spoke on “Law and Artificial Intelligence” at the fourth of the “Computational Law Seminars”

The fourth seminar of the "Computational Law Seminars" series, held in collaboration with the School of Law and the Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM) of Ibn Haldun University, focused on this year’s theme, “Law and Artificial Intelligence”. The event took place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Teoman Duralı Conference Hall.

Dr. Mustafa Yaylalı, Chief Conceptualization Theorist at New Mind, participated as the keynote speaker. Dr. Yaylalı, known for his distinguished academic career in Europe and Turkey, completed his studies at prestigious institutions such as Maastricht University, LUISS Guido Carli University (Rome), and the Academy of European Legal Theory. He has also served as a faculty member in the field of law at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and Istanbul Şehir University. In addition, he has contributed extensively to the literature on legal pluralism, rule of law, and political theory.

The seminar addressed the impacts of artificial intelligence on the legal field, the opportunities brought by technological innovations in legal regulations, and the challenges encountered. Dr. Yaylalı’s international perspective and academic experience attracted great interest from the participants.

At the end of the program, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yıldız, and the Director of UÇAM, Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu, expressed their gratitude to Dr. Mustafa Yaylalı and presented him with a token of appreciation.

The well-attended event concluded with a Q&A session, where important discussions were held on the future of artificial intelligence in the legal world.
