Dear Students

Ibn Haldun University School of Law’s mission is to raise law and justice awareness in the society, enable students to evaluate and interpret the issues in national and international law perspectives, be intellectually independent, be multilingual, be competitive in the global market and train lawyers who can act at the international arena.

Our law school applies, besides classical education, interactive and comparative education methods by using innovative ways and reach to opportunities provided by technology. With actively involved small student groups, our school of law’s educational understanding will enable you to access rich resources, encourage you to do research with a critical perspective and thus plant the research spirit in the undergraduate level.

The course program is prepared considering the current requirements in the field of law. On the one hand, you will be given the opportunity to specialize in certain areas through elective courses. On the other hand, you are given the opportunity to learn more than one foreign language and thus to do comparative law research. Thirty percent of our teaching program is made up of English lessons. In this context, courses such as international law, international private law, international arbitration, international commercial law, international investment law, energy law, competition law are taught in English.

Considering that it is not possible to be a good lawyer with an understanding that is far from practice, in addition to theoretical courses, practical courses, law clinics and mediation clinics are planned. Thus, the aim is to show legal problem solving methods not only theoretically, but also practically. You will attend national and international moot competitions and gain experience, especially in international studies. In addition, through courthouse visits and joint studies with practitioners, you will learn about job opportunities during your study. With minor and double major program opportunities provided by our university, it is possible for you to gain competence in other social sciences.

If you want to be an honest, fair, hardworking and well-rounded lawyer, we expect you at Ibn Haldun University School of Law.
