| 1) In accordance with the Senate decision dated 16.06.2017 regarding trilingual education, it is required to have at least B2 level language proficiency in each of Turkish, English and Arabic as a graduation requirement in all departments of our University. a- The Course Plan of the Law (30% English) Undergraduate Program is arranged in such a way that students can take 4 semesters of Arabic language courses in order to meet these requirements. Students will only be allowed to enroll in the language course appropriate to their level through placement exams organized by the School of Languages. b- Students who have the required level of language proficiency or who are able to achieve this proficiency before 4 semesters will take the departmental elective courses specified in the course plan instead of the Arabic courses coded ARA 301, ARA 302, ARA 303, ARA 304. |

| 2) All undergraduate courses in Ibn Haldun University undergraduate curricula can be taken as elective courses, provided that they are not among the compulsory courses specified in the Faculty of Law curriculum. English and Arabic courses up to B2 level (including this level) and Turkish language courses at all levels can be taken as elective courses. Again, the student's native language courses cannot be taken as elective courses. | ||||||
| 3) In order to graduate from the Law (30% English) undergraduate program, a total of 158 credits and 240 ECTS courses are taken. At least 72 ECTS courses must be taken in English for graduation. In this context, if the English ECTS load cannot be completed with compulsory courses, it must be completed with elective courses given in English. | ||||||
| 4) For students who start the undergraduate program in the 2020-2021 Academic Year and later, it is compulsory to take at least one of the ART coded courses opened within the scope of art courses to count towards the general elective course obligation. | ||||||
| 5) This curriculum is applied to students who start their first year in the 2020-2021 academic year and after. However, students who have taken and passed LAW 105- LAW 106 Comparative Law I and II courses take 2 elective courses of 5 ECTS instead of SIS 305- SIS 306 courses. Students who have already taken LAW 105-Law 106 but failed or have never taken LAW 105-Law 106 take SIS 305 and SIS 306. These students complete their ECTS by taking elective courses if they remain incomplete. | ||||||
| 6) Students who enrolled in the 1st year of the Bachelor of Laws Program in the fall semester of 2021-2022 and before are exempt from other university common courses in the 1st year curriculum except HIST and TLL. These students complete their missing ECTS with elective courses. Students who start their undergraduate studies as of 2021-2022 complete their graduation obligations by taking any compulsory and any elective course from the University Common Courses Compulsory and Elective packages. | ||||||
| 7) Students who have taken and passed LAW 203-LAW 204 Administrative Law I and II courses in 2021-2022 Fall and Spring Semesters and before are exempt from the Administrative Procedural Law course. These students take elective courses to fill the ECTS load. Students who have taken and passed LAW 316 "International Human Rights Law" course on or before the Fall and Spring Semesters of 2021-2022 are exempt from LAW 409 Human Rights Law course. These students take elective courses to fulfill their ECTS load. | ||||||
| 8) Students who have previously taken LAW 307 Philosophy of Law and Sociology of Law I and failed or have never taken it, complete their graduation requirements by taking LAW 307/PHIL 307 Philosophy of Law. Students who have taken LAW 308 Philosophy of Law and Sociology of Law II and failed or have never taken it, complete their graduation requirements by taking LAW 308/PHIL 308 Sociology of Law. | ||||||
