The "Computational Legal Studies - Innovative Methodological Approaches in the Field of Law" project carried out within the scope of Ibn Haldun University Scientific Research Projects started its studies. Dr. Instructor U. The first of the Computational Law Seminars, which will be held during the project process led by Ömer Faruk Erol, was held with the subject of "Digital Transformation: Innovative Approaches in Legal Studies".

Within the scope of "Computational Law Seminar - 1", Ibn Haldun University Sociology Department research assistant and Boğaziçi University Sociology Department graduate student Ar. See. Safa Nur Altuncu Kaan, in her presentation titled "Computational Social Sciences: Scope and Content", explained the importance of computational studies in social sciences, ethical principles, application methods and project contents with examples; Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law research assistant Ar. See. Gülnihal Ahter Yakacak, in her presentation titled “Computational Legal Studies: Scope and Content”, explained what computational methods mean in law, and whether it is possible to combine classical legal studies and innovative method, by giving examples from international literature.

These seminars, which serve as an introduction to Computational Law studies, will continue to be held at various intervals throughout the year.
