For resolution of international commercial and investment disputes arbitration is the most preferred dispute resolution mechanism. Having arbitration friendly environment is one of the critical factors for attracting inbound foreign investments as well as for supporting international commerce.
The International Summer School on Arbitration is aimed to bring together academicians, scholars and practicing lawyers from Turkic States in order to prepare young generations of lawyers in the mentioned field, as well as to create an Alternative Dispute Resolution platform where individuals, businesses, and organizations from the Turkic States can find an Arbitrator, submit the case, and have its dispute resolved effectively.
The 5-day certificate program will consist of lectures and discussions led by a distinguished international faculty, combined with seminars led by government and NGO representatives. In this newly initiated Summer School, the theoretical discussions will be examined along with the case studies of transnational communities from the world, as well as of communities in and from Turkic States.
This program is designed for graduate students as well as junior experts in the field.
Applications from all Turkic States are encouraged.
Accommodation and three meals daily, lectures and course materials will be covered by organizers. Travel expenses have to be paid by participants.
