NOTES                                                                                                 

1) According to the decision of the Senate dated 16.06.2017 about three languages training, it is necessary to have at least B2 level of language proficiency in each of the Turkish, English and Arabic languages as a condition of graduation in all the departments of our university. In order to meet this requirement, it is necessary to take English and Arabic language lesson in 4 semesters and these lessons are succeed. Students who have language proficiency requirements or who are able to achieve language proficiency before 4 semesters will take elective courses instead of language courses.

2) The language courses that will be taken as compulsory under the three language courses are evaluated as Successful / Failed, they are added to total credit and ECTS but not to the average                                                                                                 

3) At least two 2 elective courses from elective courses that must be taken for the graduation from the Faculty of Law must be taken from the elective courses of the Faculty of Law and succeeded.                                                                                                                                                                                                

4) All undergraduate courses in Ibn Haldun University undergraduate curricula can be taken as a general elective (free elective) course, but it is not among core and elective courses in the curriculum of the Faculty of Law and fulfill minimum credit and ECTS condition with regard to elective courses in the Faculty of Law. English and Arabic courses up to level B2 (including this level) and Turkish language courses at all levels can not be taken as free elective courses. Likewise, language courses of the student’s mother tongue or teaching language can not be taken as free elective course

5) Courses taken from other departments within the scope of Double Major Program can not accepted as free electives at the same time. Law elective list courses and/or free elective course obligation must also be completed.                                                                                                  

6) Core and elective courses in the Faculty of Law curriculum can be taken as elective courses by students in other departments.                                                                                                 

7) Students who successfully pass the English exemption exam or who successfully complete the English preparatory program must also take and pass the HUM 101 and HUM 102 courses which are elective courses. Students who can not pass the English exemption exam and also who start the undergraduate degree without following English preparatory program and those who do not successfully pass the English preparatory program, do not have to take HUM 101 and HUM 102 courses. If these students have fulfilled required level B2 for these courses without taking at least two semesters in English and Arabic courses, they must have advanced English or Arabic courses or other languages courses for the missing semester or semesters to provide compulsory foreign language
