Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law academics attended the ‘Symposium on the Role of the Constitutional Court in the Protection of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms’ organized by Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University on 6 December 2024.
The program, which was attended by Prof. Dr. Ömer Çınar, former dean of Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law and currently a member of the Constitutional Court, as well as the rapporteurs of the Constitutional Court, attracted great interest.
After the symposium, Prof. Dr. Ömer Çınar and Assoc. Prof. Recai Akyel, members of the Constitutional Court, and our academicians were hosted by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, rector of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, in his office. During the meeting, which was also attended by Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yıldız, Dean of Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ateş, Dean of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Faculty of Law, evaluations were made to increase the bilateral cooperation between our university and Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
